In Denmark, trust is not something you earn — it is something you are given. It is the foundation of how Danes raise children, run schools, and build society. When we lead with trust, people rise to meet it.
Equality
Danish culture is built on the belief that every person has equal worth — regardless of background, ability, or status. In families and classrooms, this means every voice matters and every child deserves to be seen.
Responsibility
True responsibility is not about following rules — it is about understanding why they matter. Danish children are raised to take ownership of their actions and their impact on the people around them.
Empathy
The ability to understand, share, and resonate with another person's emotions and perspective, often described as "putting yourself in their shoes".
Community
The uniquely Danish sense of community spirit —also known as fællesskab or samfundssind—is the understanding that we are stronger together, and that caring for the collective is not a sacrifice but a source of joy and belonging.
Play
Denmark takes play seriously. Free, unstructured play is not a reward for finishing work — it is the work. It is how children develop creativity, resilience, courage, and the ability to navigate life's uncertainties.
Tillid

How do families navigate children's online lives? This research explores the role parents play in shaping their children's values, habits, and confidence in digital spaces.
Values-Based Conversations
Does having open, structured conversations about online values change the quality of the parent-child relationship? We are testing whether the C.A.R.E. methodology — Connect, Agree, Respect, Evolve — increases trust and connection at home.

We measure whether children who feel their parents engage with their digital lives without judgment or fear report higher levels of trust, openness, and wellbeing at home.
What Works
